Paul J. Zadok

As director and co-founder of Fine Arts Insurance Consultants, Paul J. Zadok holds a unique and distinguished position as a nationally recognized art and antiques evaluator and appraiser.

His father who was assistant curator of the Kiev Museum in Russia first introduced Mr. Zadok to art and antiques. His apprenticeship to his father afforded him a rare opportunity to gain invaluable experience in objects d’art identification. He received his bachelor’s degree in fine arts, with high honors, from Bucharest University in Romania. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Jerusalem in Israel and is a graduate of the Gemological Institute of America in San Diego, California.

Mr. Zadok has received honorary recognition from the Belgium Society of Evaluators for his development of art-forgery identification techniques. He is a contributing member of the International Foundation for Art Research. He has conducted numerous professional seminars targeted at both the insurance industry and the general public. His lectures include such compelling topics as “Discovering Spurious Art and Antiques” and “Your Valuables: How Much Are They Worth?”

Paul is a frequent guest on radio talk shows in Southern California where he expounds on his pjfavorite topic, “Identification of Antiques and Spotting Fakes”

Several magazine articles have been written about him in the prestigious Art Business News. He has also taught courses at Learning Tree University in Chatsworth, California and is noted in the 1997-98 edition of American Directory of Who’s Who in Executives and Businesses.
